Turner - Contract Position in Karachi, Pakistan


We are currently seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to create precision metal parts and components according to specifications. This role requires strong technical skills and experience in machining processes.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine the best methods and materials needed for production
- Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, and drills to perform precision machining operations
- Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficient in operating various machine tools and reading technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of machining processes including drilling, turning, milling, and grinding
- Ability to use measuring instruments accurately for quality control purposes
- Experience with troubleshooting machinery and making adjustments as needed
- Good physical stamina as this role may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials

Additional Information:
This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per month. The selected candidate will be provided with accommodation and visa sponsorship if needed.
