Job Title: Library Assistant


A reputable library in Doha is seeking a Library Assistant to join our team. As a Library Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the library and providing exceptional service to our patrons. This position is open to all nationalities and does not require proficiency in English.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of library materials, including shelving, cataloguing, and processing new items
- Provide assistance to patrons with locating materials, using library equipment, and answering basic reference questions
- Monitor the library's circulation system and assist with checking out and returning materials
- Assist in planning and implementing library programs and events for all ages
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment within the library
- Handle book donations and assist with book sales
- Keep up-to-date on current trends in librarianship and participate in continuing education opportunities

Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred but not required
- Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 900$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Doha, Qatar.
