Senior Accountant


We are a rapidly growing accounting firm in Ashdod seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Conduct monthly and yearly closing procedures
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow and budgeting activities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop financial plans and strategies
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in accounting standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, tax laws, and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP is a plus
