Junior Accountant

We are currently hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and processing invoices. This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience in accounting or finance preferred
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Hebrew language skills are a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Reconcile accounts and investigate any discrepancies
- Process invoices and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Support senior accountants with various tasks as needed
