Private Tutor


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Private Tutor to join our team in Lisbon. As a Private Tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized and effective tutoring sessions to students of various ages and academic levels. Your main goal will be to enhance their understanding, knowledge and academic performance in specific subjects. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, extensive knowledge in the subject they will be teaching and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. This is a contract job with visa sponsorship for the right candidate. Salary is 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create individualized lesson plans based on students' needs and learning styles
- Teach various subjects, such as Math, Science, English, or any other subject you specialize in
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Use various teaching tools and materials to engage students in the learning process
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress
- Prepare students for exams and help them develop study skills
- Stay updated with the latest educational methods and techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tutor or Teacher
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
- Extensive knowledge in the subject(s) you will be teaching
- Excellent communication skills
- Patient, adaptable and empathetic towards students
- Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)
