Fitter - Mechanical Technician



We are in need of a skilled Fitter - Mechanical Technician to join our team in Vianden. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining and repairing various mechanical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine installation requirements
- Assemble and install mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, motors, and conveyor systems
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with mechanical systems
- Operate hand and power tools to cut, shape, and drill components
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working on site
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in processes or equipment design

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or Mechanical Technician
- Knowledge of various hand and power tools used in mechanical work
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects or standing for long periods of time
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members

Contract Job:
