Software Tester
We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing and a keen eye for detail. This is a full-time position and does not require English proficiency. As we are looking for candidates from Kenya, accommodation will not be provided. However, we do offer a free visa and ticket for the selected candidate.

As our Software Tester, you will collaborate with the development team to identify and document software defects, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for improvements. You will also be responsible for designing and executing test plans, analyzing test results, and reporting on any issues or bugs found during testing.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of software development processes. You should also have experience with automated testing tools and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Test software applications for functionality, performance, usability, security, and compatibility
- Document software defects found during testing using bug tracking tools
- Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for improvements
- Design and execute test plans based on project requirements
- Analyze test results to identify any issues or bugs
- Report on test findings to the development team
- Utilize automated testing tools to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing
- Strong understanding of software development processes
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
