Unity Developer (Contract) - Funchal, Portugal


We are hiring a highly skilled Unity Developer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality games and applications for various platforms using the Unity game engine. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ and does not include accommodation.

Requirements:
- Proficient in C# programming language
- Experience with Unity game engine
- Knowledge of mobile and console game development
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date with industry trends

Responsibilities:
- Develop, debug, and maintain high-quality games and applications using the Unity game engine
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging gameplay mechanics and features
- Optimize game performance for various platforms
- Integrate third-party plugins and APIs into projects as needed
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to game development

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience developing games or applications using the Unity game engine
- Portfolio showcasing previous work/projects
- Experience working on mobile or console games is preferred
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Blender or Maya is a plus
