Junior Data Mining Analyst


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and be comfortable working with various databases and software programs.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use data mining techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data
- Create reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving data quality and identifying new opportunities for analysis
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in data mining

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases such as Oracle or MySQL
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
