Data Mining Analyst

We are a rapidly growing data mining company based in Porto, looking for a skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize data mining techniques to extract and analyze data from various sources
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in large datasets
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to assist in decision making
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through reports and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and provide data-driven solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience in data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R programming languages
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
