Experienced Carpenter in Multan - Contract Position


We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Multan on a contract basis. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. You will be working primarily with wood but may also use materials such as drywall, fiberglass, or other building materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials required
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, chalk lines, etc.
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber or other material according to measurements using hand tools or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged or rotting parts
- Work with other construction professionals such as electricians and plumbers to complete projects
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction projects
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with carpentry equipment such as saws, drills etc.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Good understanding of basic math calculations for measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and lifting heavy materials
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Location & Benefits:
This is a contract position based in Multan with free accommodation provided. The successful candidate will also receive a competitive salary of 1800$ per month along with a free visa and ticket.
