Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company. This includes maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic recommendations to improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the budgeting process and provide strategic recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (Quickbooks or similar).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Salary: $1200 per month
