Administrator for a Contract Position in Bungoma, Kenya
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrator to join our team for a contract position in Bungoma, Kenya. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous administrative experience and excellent communication skills. As the Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate office activities and operations
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Manage phone calls, emails, letters, packages etc.
- Support budgeting procedures
- Create reports and presentations as assigned
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an administrator or similar role
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Salary: $1500/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Bungoma, Kenya (accommodation provided)
Visa: Visa sponsorship available for non-Kenyan candidates
Contract duration: 6 months with possibility of extension based on performance
