Handyman/Handywoman

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Handywoman to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Handyman/Handywoman, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on various properties. This is a full-time position without accommodation provided, so we are looking for someone who is already located in the area.

Responsibilities:
- Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks as needed
- Inspect and troubleshoot issues with appliances, fixtures, and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants or property managers in a timely manner
- Keep track of materials and supplies needed for projects
- Follow safety procedures when working with tools and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman/Handywoman or similar role
- Skilled in multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Physically fit to handle manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects or standing for long periods of time
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience working with property management companies or in residential/commercial settings
- Familiarity with local building codes
- Bilingual (Norwegian/English)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
