Entry Level Instrument Technician


We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Entry Level Instrument Technician to join our team in Akron. As an Entry Level Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial and manufacturing settings. This is a great opportunity for someone without previous experience in the field to learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, control valves, and transmitters
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Calibrate instruments according to established specifications
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- No previous experience required but willingness to learn is essential
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and read technical diagrams a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month.
