Body Repair Master

A well-established auto body repair shop in Svalbard is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Repair Master to join our team. As a Body Repair Master, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This includes performing structural, body, and mechanical repairs, as well as painting and refinishing vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the best course of action for repairs
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as needed
- Perform structural repairs using various tools and techniques
- Straighten bent frames and body panels using specialized equipment
- Repair or replace damaged mechanical components such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
- Perform body repairs including welding, sanding, filling, and painting
- Ensure quality control by inspecting completed work to ensure it meets industry standards
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on each vehicle

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto body repair with a focus on structural repairs
- Extensive knowledge of collision repair techniques and procedures
- Skilled in using various hand and power tools for body work, welding, sanding, etc.
- Experience with computerized estimating systems is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Good communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and management

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month along with visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
