Smelter Operator
Operate smelting equipment to extract metal from ore and other raw materials. Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and other variables to ensure efficient and safe operation. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear. Keep accurate records of production levels, quality control measures, and maintenance tasks. Communicate with other team members to coordinate production schedules and troubleshoot issues. Requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and ability to work in hot and noisy environments. No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training provided. Contract position with competitive salary of $1200 per month, plus accommodation, visa sponsorship, and transportation provided for Indian nationals in Nakuru.
