Executive Chef - Fine Dining (Lisbon, Portugal)

As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operation of our fine dining restaurant, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and that guests are consistently wowed by the flavors and presentation. You will also be responsible for developing new menu items that showcase your culinary expertise and creativity.

To excel in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience working as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment. You should possess excellent leadership skills and have the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team of sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen staff. A strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen operations is also required.

In addition to your culinary skills, we are looking for someone with strong business acumen who can manage food costs and inventory efficiently. As an integral member of our management team, you will also be involved in budget planning and achieving financial targets for the restaurant.

Our ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field from an accredited institution. International experience is an asset but not required. We are seeking someone who is fluent in English with proficiency in Portuguese being advantageous.

This is a full-time position with evening and weekend shifts required. We offer competitive salary starting at $1600 per month depending on experience along with health benefits and other perks.
