JAVA Developer

We are hiring a skilled JAVA Developer to join our team in Braga. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JAVA programming language and experience in developing and maintaining software applications. As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing code, as well as debugging and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You will work closely with other developers, project managers, and clients to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet the project requirements. This position offers a salary of 1400$ per month and does not include accommodation. A biometric passport is preferred but not required. This role is suitable for both men and women who have the necessary skills and experience.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software applications using JAVA
- Collaborating with team members to identify project requirements and create technical solutions
- Troubleshooting issues that arise during development or in production environments
- Writing efficient code that follows best practices and coding standards
- Maintaining existing codebase by fixing bugs or making enhancements
- Conducting peer code reviews to ensure code quality
- Communicating with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Continuously learning new technologies and techniques to improve skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a JAVA Developer
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficiency in JAVA programming language
- Experience working with Spring Framework or other similar frameworks
- Knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
