Preservation Architect
Location: Sheduva, India


As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Sheduva. Your role will involve working closely with local authorities and organizations to ensure that these landmarks are protected and maintained for future generations. You will also be responsible for overseeing construction and renovation projects, ensuring that they adhere to preservation guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to identify areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Develop preservation plans and strategies, taking into account the historical significance of each landmark
- Collaborate with local authorities and organizations to obtain necessary permits and approvals for preservation projects
- Oversee construction and renovation projects, ensuring that they adhere to preservation guidelines and regulations
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in preservation projects
- Conduct regular inspections of historic buildings to monitor their condition and address any maintenance issues
- Research materials and techniques used in the construction of historic buildings in order to accurately preserve or restore them
- Educate the public on the importance of preserving historic landmarks through presentations, workshops, or other events

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as an architect with a focus on preservation or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural conservation principles, practices, and materials
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience collaborating with local authorities and organizations is preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary package starting at 1600$ per month. Additional benefits include accommodation provided by our company.

Note:
This position is suitable for Malayalees who are interested in preserving India's rich cultural heritage. Fluency in English is not required but is considered an asset. This is an urgent position and we are looking for someone who can start immediately.
