Loader Supervisor



We are seeking an experienced Loader Supervisor to oversee our team of loaders in Mombasa. As a Loader Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe loading of goods onto trucks and other vehicles for transport. You will also oversee the training and development of new loaders and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of loaders in loading and unloading goods onto trucks and other vehicles
- Train new loaders on proper loading techniques and safety protocols
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed by the loaders at all times
- Coordinate with truck drivers to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods
- Inspect equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs to management
- Maintain accurate records of loaded goods for inventory purposes
- Resolve any issues or conflicts among the loader team in a professional manner
- Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient flow of goods for loading
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for loaders and provide feedback for improvement

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, further education in logistics or related field preferred
- At least 2 years' experience as a loader or in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse environment
- Experience supervising a team is highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor weather conditions as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills, fluency in English preferred but not required
- Valid work permit or visa sponsorship available for non-citizens
