Metal Turner


We are seeking a skilled Metal Turner to join our team in Ufa, Russia. As a Metal Turner, you will be responsible for shaping and machining metal parts using various tools and machines. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various metal turning machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the specifications of the metal parts to be produced
- Measure and mark dimensions on workpieces to ensure accuracy of final product
- Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precise measurements
- Set up cutting tools and adjust machine settings to achieve desired results
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Turner or in a similar role
- Skilled in operating various metal turning machines
- Knowledge of reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using precision measurement tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time

Preferred Requirements:
As this is a contract job, previous experience in working on short-term projects would be preferred. Additionally, candidates with experience working with biometric passports would be an asset.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time contract position without accommodation. The ideal candidate should be willing to relocate or have their own accommodations in Ufa. English language proficiency is not required for this position.
