Interpreter


As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between individuals who speak different languages. This role requires strong linguistic skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to adapt quickly to different contexts. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse range of clients, providing interpretation services for meetings, conferences, legal proceedings, and other events.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person or via phone or video call
- Accurately convey messages between individuals speaking different languages
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Research unfamiliar terminology to ensure accurate interpretation
- Facilitate communication between parties with cultural differences
- Take notes and summarize key points during meetings or events
- Follow ethical standards and industry best practices for interpretation services

Requirements:
- Fluent in English and at least one other language (Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese preferred)
- Strong knowledge of both cultures represented in the languages you interpret
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proven experience as an interpreter or related role (formal training may be considered)
- Tech-savvy with experience using interpreting software or devices
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed

Salary:
$1100 per month

This position is based in the United States.
