Barista



We are currently hiring for the position of Barista to join our team at our bustling coffee shop in Alta, Norway. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take orders in a friendly and efficient manner
- Prepare and serve hot and cold coffee beverages according to customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Answer customer questions about menu items, promotions, and pricing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and a positive customer experience
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and latte art is an asset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this part-time position.

This job is located in Alta, Norway. While accommodation is not provided, we can assist with finding suitable housing options if needed.
