Solar Panel Installer


As a Solar Panel Installer, you will be responsible for installing solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties in Svalbard. Your main duties will include mounting solar panels, connecting electrical components, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the installation process.

You will work closely with our team of technicians and project managers to ensure that all installations are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities:
- Install solar panel systems according to industry standards and safety protocols
- Mount solar panels on roofs or other structures using appropriate tools and techniques
- Connect electrical components such as inverters, converters, and batteries
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation
- Ensure proper grounding and wiring of all components
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations within established timelines
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical or solar installation is preferred
- Proven experience in solar panel installation is a plus
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and basic construction principles
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid driver's license

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position. In addition, we provide accommodation for our employees in Svalbard. We also offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
