Construction Manager

- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, schedules and other documents related to project management
- Source materials, equipment and subcontractors needed for each project
- Hire, train and supervise construction workers as well as subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and other legal requirements
- Monitor progress of projects and make necessary adjustments to meet timelines
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Maintain accurate records of project activities including costs, progress reports and contracts
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or changes in plans

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Manager in the construction industry
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and other legal requirements
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office suite; experience with project management software is an asset
