Android Developer (Part-Time)
Location: Alta, Norway


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. This is a part-time position with the option for full-time in the future.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new mobile applications for the Android platform
- Write clean and efficient code following best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to ensure optimal performance
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the mobile development industry
- Work closely with product managers to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as an Android Developer
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and web services integration
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Bonus Skills:
- Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications (e.g. React Native)
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices
- Familiarity with Kotlin programming language
