Senior Accountant

We are a multinational company based in Lusail, seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company. Your main duties will include preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets and expenses, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic recommendations to improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor budgets and expenses to ensure they are within the approved limits
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and other compliance requirements
- Manage cash flow by forecasting and monitoring cash flow levels
- Ensure all accounting processes and procedures comply with relevant laws and regulations
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and make strategic recommendations
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in using accounting software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
