Indian Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Izhevsk. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic Indian dishes to the highest standard. Your main duties will include overseeing the kitchen operations, managing inventory and food costs, training and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Indian Chef
- Proficient in preparing a variety of Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and spices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must have authorization to work in Izhevsk
Responsibilities:
- Create menus that reflect traditional Indian cuisine while also incorporating modern trends
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and safe food handling practices
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of ingredients while minimizing waste
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes or specials as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations regarding food preparation, storage, and sanitation
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
