Entry-Level Restaurant Manager
As an entry-level Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant in Lisbon. You will work closely with the senior management team to ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without prior experience in restaurant management to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise
- Assist with creating schedules for staff to ensure appropriate coverage
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
