Office Assistant for English-Speaking Office in Ashdod, Israel
We are hiring an Office Assistant to join our English-speaking office in Ashdod, Israel. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and prior experience working in an office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Take minutes during meetings when needed
- Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and data entry
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Previous experience working in an office setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
