Junior Database Administrator

As a Junior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, security, and organization of our company's databases. You will work closely with our team of developers and IT professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our data systems.

Your duties will include monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing backups and upgrades as needed. You will also be responsible for implementing and enforcing security protocols to protect sensitive information.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of database management systems and be familiar with SQL. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Strong problem-solving skills are also important in order to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.

While previous experience in database administration is preferred, we are also open to candidates who are eager to learn and grow in this field. We offer on-the-job training and opportunities for professional development.

This position is based in Bergen but may require occasional travel to other locations as needed. As such, we prefer candidates who are open to relocation or already located in the area.

We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month along with benefits such as free visa sponsorship and airfare. However, accommodation will not be provided.
