Android Developer



We are looking for a passionate and experienced Android Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing native Android applications and be able to work on both new projects and maintenance of existing apps. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality native Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience developing native Android applications
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs such as Retrofit, Picasso, Firebase, etc.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cross-platform development tools such as React Native or Flutter
- Familiarity with server-side technologies such as Node.js or PHP
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs using JSON or XML formats

Benefits:
