Turner/ Machinist


We are seeking a skilled Turner/Machinist for our company located in Atlanta. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in operating and setting up manual and CNC machines. The job requires working with precision tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to produce high-quality metal parts.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine specifications
- Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines
- Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and depth of cut
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning
- Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate dimensions
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or Machinist
- Proficient in operating both manual and CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight tolerances
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time while operating machinery

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Atlanta, USA (candidates from India preferred)

Type: Part-time (30 hours per week)
