Entry-Level Data Analyst

As an entry-level data analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data in order to identify trends and patterns. You will use various software tools and programming languages to extract and manipulate data, as well as create visualizations and reports to present your findings. Your main goal will be to help our company make informed business decisions by providing accurate and insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting, organizing, and cleaning large sets of data from various sources
- Analyzing data using statistical methods and creating visualizations
- Identifying patterns and trends in the data to inform business decisions
- Collaborating with other team members to develop solutions for data-related challenges
- Presenting findings through reports, presentations, or dashboards
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in data analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, computer science)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, R)
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex information in a clear manner
- A passion for problem-solving and using data to drive decision-making
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or internship is a plus
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms is a plus
- Familiarity with big data frameworks (Hadoop) is a plus

Location: This position is based in Svalbard but can be performed remotely.
Salary: $1500 per month.
