Interpreter (English-Spanish)
As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English and Spanish speakers in various settings such as business meetings, medical appointments, legal proceedings, and social events. Your duties will include accurately interpreting spoken language and cultural nuances between the two languages, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality, and managing any technical equipment used for interpretation. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish, exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of both cultures. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have a flexible schedule to accommodate last-minute assignments. Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1500 per month. This position is based in Washington D.C., but remote work may be possible depending on the needs of the assignment.
