Civil Engineer - Lisbon


We are hiring a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Lisbon. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan construction projects, including preparing cost estimates and timelines
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and gather necessary data
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop project plans that meet client needs and adhere to regulations
- Oversee construction progress, ensuring quality control and adherence to deadlines
- Make necessary adjustments or modifications to plans as needed
- Communicate project updates and progress reports to clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols on construction sites
- Manage project budgets and expenses

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Experience with project management software
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices
