Restaurant Manager - Almada

We are looking for a motivated and organized Restaurant Manager to join our team in Almada. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profits. This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all front of house and back of house activities
- Train and supervise staff to ensure high levels of customer service
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels and ensure cost-effective ordering
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Create schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Track financial transactions and prepare reports for management

Requirements:
- Proven work experience in restaurant management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and budgeting processes
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings if necessary
