Administrative Assistant - Nakuru, Kenya
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Nakuru, Kenya. This contract position is ideal for Canadian professionals looking for an opportunity to work abroad without the requirement of English language skills. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and maintaining office supplies
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Conduct research and compile data as needed
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as needed
- Assist with project coordination and management tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Must hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
- No prior experience required - training will be provided
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (no additional languages required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1200 USD per month.
Location:
This role is based in Nakuru, Kenya. Accommodation will not be provided; however, we are able to assist with recommendations for local housing options.
