Librarian - Indian Nationals Only



We are currently seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, providing reference and research assistance to patrons, and overseeing the daily operations of the library.

Key Responsibilities:
- Catalog and classify library materials using standard classification systems
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, including acquisitions, circulation, and inventory
- Assist patrons with locating materials, answering reference questions, and providing research assistance
- Develop and implement library programs and services to meet the needs of the community
- Train and supervise library staff and volunteers in library procedures and policies
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends in library services
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate library resources into their programs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian in a similar setting
- Knowledge of cataloging standards such as AACR2 and Dewey Decimal Classification System
- Familiarity with online databases, e-resources, and other digital tools commonly used in libraries
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
$1100 per month (tax-free) plus benefits package including health insurance, annual airfare allowance, and visa sponsorship.
