Junior Librarian


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Librarian to join our team in Dubai. As a Junior Librarian, you will assist in the management and maintenance of our library collection, as well as provide customer service to library patrons. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level candidate with a passion for books, information, and helping others. This position is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Indian candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the library collection
- Ensure all books and materials are properly shelved and labeled
- Assist patrons with locating books and information
- Check in/out books using library software system
- Process new materials for circulation
- Assist with library events and programs
- Handle inquiries and provide customer service to library patrons

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Library Science preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Passion for books, information, and helping others

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Dubai.

Visa/Ticket:
We provide free visa and ticket for this position.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.

Experience/Qualifications:
No prior experience is required for this role. We welcome candidates who are passionate about libraries and eager to learn.
