Librarian (Malayalee/Kenyan) in Dubai


We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Dubai. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the collection of books, periodicals, and other materials, helping patrons find resources, and promoting literacy and learning. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Librarian and be fluent in either Malayalam or Swahili. This position offers a salary of $1300 per month with accommodation provided and visa sponsorship available. This role is suitable for both men and women.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library collection by cataloging, shelving, and maintaining an up-to-date inventory.
- Assist patrons in finding and utilizing resources effectively.
- Develop programs to promote literacy and lifelong learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs.
- Maintain library equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and resources for the library.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Previous experience working as a Librarian.
- Fluent in Malayalam or Swahili.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of library systems and technologies.
