A reputable construction company in Sheduva, Kenya is seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Fitter to join our team. This position is open to both Kenyan and foreign candidates.

As a Contract Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various mechanical systems and components. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring all work is completed according to safety standards.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter in a construction or industrial setting
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
- Ability to use various hand tools and power tools
- Good physical strength and stamina
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship

Responsibilities:
- Review blueprints and technical drawings to determine assembly procedures
- Select appropriate materials for each project based on specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, install, or repair mechanical systems such as pipes, valves, pumps, etc.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and building codes
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within given deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Salary:
$1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
