We are hiring a skilled Miner to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Miner, you will be responsible for extracting natural resources from the earth, such as coal, minerals, or metals. Your main duties will include operating heavy machinery, drilling and blasting rocks, and ensuring the safety of yourself and your coworkers.

To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience working in a mining environment. You must also have knowledge of mining techniques and safety procedures. A valid driver's license is required for this position.

As a Miner, you will work in underground mines or open-pit mines depending on the type of resource being extracted. You will be expected to work long hours in potentially hazardous conditions, so physical stamina and resilience are important qualities for this job.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery such as drills, excavators, and loaders to extract natural resources
- Use explosives to blast rocks and facilitate excavation
- Inspect equipment regularly to ensure proper function and report any malfunctions
- Monitor air quality in the mine to ensure safe working conditions
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Keep track of daily production levels and report any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of mineral locations and quantities extracted
- Communicate with coworkers effectively to coordinate tasks
