Preservation Architect
Location: Eschen, Liechtenstein
We are in search of a qualified Preservation Architect to join our team in Eschen. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring their structural integrity and historical significance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies that comply with local regulations and standards
- Oversee restoration projects, including managing contractors and ensuring quality workmanship
- Utilize preservation techniques such as cleaning, repairing, and reinforcing materials to maintain the original integrity of the structure
- Collaborate with local authorities, historians, and other professionals to ensure proper preservation practices are followed
- Maintain detailed records of all preservation activities and provide reports as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on historical preservation projects
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations pertaining to historic structures
- Strong understanding of preservation techniques and materials
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month along with accommodation. This is a contract position for an initial period of 2 years. Biometric passport is required for employment.
