Dismantler - Contract Position in Clairvaux, Canada


We are seeking a skilled Dismantler to join our team in Clairvaux, Canada on a contract basis. As a Dismantler, you will be responsible for disassembling various types of vehicles and equipment, removing parts and salvaging materials for reuse or recycling. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for mechanics and hands-on work.

Responsibilities:
- Disassemble vehicles and equipment according to established procedures
- Identify and remove usable parts for resale or reuse
- Sort and organize salvaged materials for recycling
- Inspect parts for damage or wear and report any issues to management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Dismantler or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and engines
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Physical fitness to lift heavy objects, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to identify quality parts from damaged ones

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with potential for extension. You will be working in an indoor facility with occasional exposure to outdoor elements. This job may require bending, lifting, twisting, standing for extended periods of time, and working with hand tools. Proper protective gear will be provided.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per week.
