Indian Restaurant Manager in Mombasa, Kenya
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Restaurant Manager to oversee our restaurant in Mombasa. As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and providing excellent customer service. Your duties will include managing staff, monitoring inventory and finances, creating schedules, and maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian restaurant
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Train, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create weekly schedules for staff based on business needs
- Ensure proper food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Optimize profits by controlling costs without compromising quality or service
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods at competitive prices
- Maintain accurate financial records including sales reports, cash handling, and payroll management
