Waiter/Waitress


We are in need of a friendly and efficient Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a busy restaurant in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be expected to have a good knowledge of the menu and be able to make recommendations to customers. Previous experience is not required but would be an advantage. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month plus tips. Accommodation is not provided, so applicants must have their own accommodation arrangements.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and present menus
- Take accurate orders from customers
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner
- Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction
- Make menu recommendations and answer questions about the menu
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Assist with setting up tables and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements:
- No previous experience required but would be preferred
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of local languages would be an advantage)
- Must have good physical stamina as the job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy trays
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
