Information Technology Manager



Position Overview:
Our growing company is seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager to join our team in Faro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management and a proven track record of successfully leading and implementing technology projects. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1600$.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing a team of IT professionals
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of our systems
- Evaluate existing technology systems and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data security protocols
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to inform decision making
- Train employees on the use of new systems or technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT management
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud computing
- Proven experience managing large-scale technology projects from planning to implementation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
