Junior Surveyor
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Surveyor to join our team in the United States. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced surveyors to gather and analyze data related to land, construction, and engineering projects. You will be responsible for conducting field surveys, using specialized equipment and software to collect accurate measurements and create maps and plans.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior surveyors in conducting field surveys using high-tech equipment
- Collect, record, and analyze data related to land, construction, and engineering projects
- Use specialized software to create maps, plans, and reports based on survey data
- Ensure accuracy of measurements by following established procedures and quality control protocols
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of surveys
- Maintain survey equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on job sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Strong mathematical skills
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical fitness for walking long distances carrying equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
Salary: $1200/month (with potential for increase based on performance)
